My mom and stepmom danced at my party when I was 14/15 and I begged them to stop and they had promised not to. I’m pretty sure I cried myself to sleep that night I was so embarrassed and ashamed.

I check with my kid to make sure I'm not embarrassing him, because kids can be weird about things and speaking up. So I check in every so often, just to make sure I'm being okay
