I think ppl forget that filler was created for older people for wrinkles, etc. not when you’re in your 20’s-30’s lol

they do dissolve naturally (our body enzyme called hyaluronidase does this) but I do agree that many people nowadays are doing fillers excessively! 😩 I think these celebs get pillow face bcs they're

They do dissolve. Just not as fast as people think. So if you’re getting regular ‘top ups’, you’re just pushing more filler in and around your face, hence ‘pillow face’

I’m 38, I have wrinkles, I have grays, and I love them. It’s a privilege to grow old.

We as older women I’m 36 we need to normalize normal skin wrinkles are okay it’s a sign of age but it tells a story I 100% believe we need to normalize wrinkles!! I have wrinkles and stretch marks

I started to get an itch to just get lip fillers with a good nurse but if “dissolving” means it migrates then it shouldn’t be considered dissolving. This was my sign not to get them

Go get your fillers if you want them …but! Don’t get them every year or every two years! Just wait in between. Everyone is different. You still have filler there even after a year or two

Plastic surg resident here! Fillers can expand over time since they attract water. They usually dissolve, but if they last longer or swell , follow up with your doc hyaluronidase can help dissolve it!

They DO dissolve. Just not completely. The problem starts when inappropriate fillers are injected into inappropriate areas and it's done too often.

Nurse here, and also yes they do dissolve over time but very very slowly and the reason why it looks a bit expanded is due to the enzymes it breaks the filler apart, along with that creates this space

I got lip fillers once 3 years ago and they never fully went back to their original size. doctors are scamming you when they tell you you have to get them refilled every six months

i have filler & i love it. i think the issue when it comes these things is everyone focuses on the botched cases because when done correctly you usually cant tell, most girls with filler look good.

filler actually absorbs the water in our skin, therefore it swells and expands. 💉 she ate when she said “if this is women empowerment, i want nothing to do with it” 💯

She is 100% right. Fillers, Botox and all the things most women are doing to their face and even body is just out is control and looks terrible.

I think it does dissolve with body enzymes as they say but not as quickly as they make you believe. Those who get excessive amounts of filler end up w/ pillow face due to the fact it has broken -
