Make a little bat home for him if you can! I adore bats🥰 but we had a bat family nest in our home awning & they caused A LOT of damage unfortunately. I loved them but we had to safely relocate them

I’m in Toronto so not the pnw but a sick bat in my backyard tested positive for rabies so pls be careful, doesn’t have to bite to infect and incibation up to 90 days or more

Ad someone who has dealt with bats in my garage - with cats - oh hell no! All cats had to have rabies shot. They are great - just NOT in a home!
