I put my pain off for a year and ended up have Foramen magnum meningioma posterior fossa extra-axial mass with mass effect on the cervical medullary junction/midbrain. I finally ended up going to the ER cause I could no longer handle this pain I'd been putting off. In less than 2 hours I was diagnosed with the above. I am four days out of surgery. It's the worst pain I've ever felt In my life. Had I waited any longer I could have lost my body functions- breathing/ walking /talking. I could have no longer been here. Moral of this post----get checked cause if you know something is wrong then it probably is.
