God this is so true. We are a heavy RP group.They wanted to use xp this campaign and we will go two or three sessions without combat. I’ve started giving them 500 XP In the sessions with no combat.

I started a new campaign with a group of buddies who are not new to dnd and I'm letting then level at a fast rate..I can't wait for them to hit 12-20 when they die they will be revived by a lich

Side note though, was playing Baldur’s Gate 3, we have to destroy a sturdy door, so we used Karlach as she had the axe. Made easy work of the door… then she leveled up from 1 to 2. We laughed so hard
