I think to put it most aptly, Jews are white in the sense that we have the option to forgo our identity in exchange for safety, but having the full extent of white privlege would be not having to relinquish identity for safety in the first place.

I look white and know I have privilege as such, and I feel like that often gets counterbalanced/canceled with my identity as a visually impaired person. “Conditional whiteness” puts it perfectly.
