I will always feel my heart swell with some sort of love and compassion when I see missionaries. even though I don’t believe anymore, they are just teenagers nah CHILDREN away from their families. saying hi can make a huge difference in their day when they are rejected over and over.

I let 2 sisters come over for lunch when I was in university. once a week or so. I listened to their spiels, but I just was happy to feed them and let them sit down.

I will often feed the missionaries, because of the shared experiences of TBM/exmo RMs. I feel love for them for the sacrifice they make based on their conviction. I hope by doing that they feel 1/

I feel exactly the same way about my growing up in the SBC.. it’s so heavy and sometimes I cry when I think about all the little girls currently growing up in the church world I did… 😭❤️
