@Animated Maestros: Not long after the movie was released, I visited the valley in North Carolina where they filmed the last third of the film. The village was still up and they had the rifle and costume Daniel Day used for the film. In the village scene where Daniel Day confronts the elder, you can walk the trail where you see the waterfall in the background. Very cool!

Ww1 was classified as the great war bc it was the first one to be fought at industrial scale it only became ww1 after ww2

But the conflicts just happens to be occurring at the same time and weren’t really related to each other. Maybe that’s why it hasn’t been considered a world war
