As a home health and hospice nurse, i see people all the time who have perm drains placed and we go teach them how to drain. I don’t understand why they aren’t doing this for you. It’s called pleur-x

Radiology nurse here. You should look into getting outpatient appointments for paracentesis if they can’t do a pleurx. We do outpatient appointments for our patients.
