I wish our workplace did the automatic gratuity for large parties. I’m not a server, but the horror stories I hear about people not tipping their servers, just no. They deserve better than that

I never tip if there's auto gratuity, only exception is if the gratuity is less than 15% then I'll tip to get it up to 15%. Think paying more than 15% for gratuity/tip is insane, what do others think?

We had a large party with an automatic gratuity. The service was awful, we got our food but never saw waitress again. We wanted to tip but not the 20%.
