@susielake: Nothing says fall like making apple crisp. We went apple picking the other day and I couldn’t wait to make my first apple crisp of the season. This is my mother-in-law's recipe and it never disappoints! Recipe: Ingredients: 5 cups of apples- peeled, cored, and sliced (about 12 depending on the size) ⅔ cup of sugar 3 Tbs flour 1 Tbs cinnamon Ingredients for topping: 1 cup of butter, melted 1 ¾ cups flour 2 cups of quick oats 1 ½ cups of brown sugar 2 Tbs cinnamon Instructions: Place peeled, cored, and sliced apples in 9X13 pan Mix ⅔ cup of sugar, 3 Tbs flour and 1 Tbsp of cinnamon in a bowl Toss mixture with apples until coated In a separate bowl, mix the topping ingredients together. Sprinkle on top of apples Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes or until apples are tender and mixture is bubbly and the topping is golden #fall #falldesserts #dessertrecipe #applecrisp #applerecipes #fallaesthetic #EasyRecipe #fallfavorites #easyrecipe #easydessert #fallactivities
