I love this girl because these questions I’ve always pondered. I guess I meant to say I love scientists because they know just about as much as I or we do. I vote infinite. Have you seen our universe

Thanks for answering this! I’ve always had that question. Nothing, to me, implies a barrier, however. It’s like a road that comes to an abrupt end and you go tumbling down the mountain.

The entire universe, not just what we can see or imagine, must be infinite, and equal to nothing. I'd postulate that human physiology is incapable of ever knowing. Hence, religions and 'science'.

I believe what you’re saying. However my mind just can’t wrap my head around it. Just like what was there before the universe? how did it just become to be? 😱🤯

We will never know the answers to the universe. It was designed that way

This is similar to talking about more dimensions than we can experience, which you mention. We have no examples or experience that we can easily use to visualize it. We only see part of its impact.

Is it all expanding in the same direction? And either way, what drives the expansion? I mean it’s not wind so..?! Gah! So amazing and complicated.

it is expanding ito another space that contains this universe, that's what I think

Universe is finite & infinite as a human is finite & infinite. Like us, the universe started as embryonic form & grows. Other universes out there. All one system. A galaxy is like an atom in a human.

Maybe think of it as stretching rather than expanding.

Either finite or infinite. Both answers are extremely bizarre.

I like to think that there’s something larger than the universe that we aren’t aware of.

I believe it's expanding into more space and that space is infinite.

What about the notion of a multiverse? Are the universes expanding, suspended like bubbles in some hyper-medium?

it's expanding back into itself imo

Isn’t it expanding faster than light? Since nothing can move faster than light doesn’t that make it infinite to us at least?

Even *if* there's something outside our universe, the point is, since we're *inside*, we aren't able to see it! So essentially, we'll never know.
