@mamawgailcooks: My Peanut Butter Bar 🥜 I’m finally back in the kitchen 💕 Ingredients: For Peanut Butter Bar: • 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter • 1/2 cup white granulated sugar • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar • 1 egg • Heaping 1/2 cup peanut butter • 1 cup Quaker Quick Oats • 1 cup Martha White self-rising flour For Icing: • 1 cup powdered sugar • Heaping 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter • 2% milk (add gradually until consistency is a little thinner than cake icing) Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 350°F 2. Prepare Peanut Butter Bar: • Grease a 9x13 inch pan. • Melt 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter. • Mix in 1/2 cup white sugar and 1/2 cup brown sugar. • Beat in 1 egg. • Stir in heaping 1/2 cup peanut butter. • After mixing well add 1 cup quick oats and 1 cup self-rising flour. Mix Well. • Spread mixture in the greased pan and pat down with wet hands. • Bake for 22-24 minutes. 3. Prepare Icing: • While bars are baking, mix 1 cup powdered sugar with heaping 1/2 cup peanut butter. • Gradually add 2% milk until desired consistency is reached (slightly thinner than cake icing). 4. Finish Bar: • Once bars are done, spread icing on top immediately. (While hot) • Let cool before serving.
