As a filipino living in canada for 10 years I still have this feeling but I have a strategy now everytime I go out and eat I don’t eat rice but the moment I get home Im going to eat rice.

I just simply pack my own rice when I know we eating out, I even have a special bag for it incase the lid accidentally comes off and it spills 😭

As a Portuguese, I can totally relate! We even have a saying for when things get repetitive “outra vez arroz” which literally means “rice again?” 😂
