$100 isn't a lot when factoring in all the costs of being a horse breeder. Personally, if I was breeding I would test all my stock and make decisions from there. 1/2

I don't understand how anyone could see a horse in that condition and say we should breed more of them. People shouldn't want to breed an animal knowing that's going to cause problems

I’m against it… most of the times you can even see that a horse is a carrier. We tested both our stallions, and most of our mares are tested, we are busy testing the remaining ones

There are so many nice stallions that are negative. Why breed to a stallion that carries? That will just keep the dwarf genes in the breed instead of working to eradicate them.
