Heart shaped chocolate filled strawberry cream puffs 🍓 Ingredients 1 package of puff pastry Room temp *according to package instructions 1/2 cup unsweetened heavy whipping cream 2 tbsp ( or more to taste ) powdered sugar 1/2 cup Melted chocolate for filling 1/2 cup strawberries (wash + cut into slices) 1 tbsp vanilla extract Heart shaped cookie cutter Pistachios and almond for garnish For the egg wash : 1 egg + 2 tbsp milk Directions Preheat oven to the temperature required by your puff pastry packaging In a large bowl add the heavy cream, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar. Mix on high for 3-5 minutes until stiff peaks form in the cream. Place cream in the fridge. Cut out your puff pastry hearts. Brush the puff pastry with egg wash. This will give the pastry a golden-brown finish on the top. Bake according to puff pastry package instructions. Allow to cool for 5 mins and then slice them in half. Spread melted chocolate on one side of the pastry, pipe with cream. Garnish some chopped pistachios and almonds. Add sliced strawberries and close it.
