I worked for a cable company for a bit and they had a box with a really sticky glue in it that sealed up the coax connection for underground. look up "Environmentally Sealed Coax Drop Wire Closure"

I own a pool buiness and our salt cells have these same connections. They are terrible. I've seen them melt together as well once they start getting corroded. Terrible

there is a gel for cabel, u put the connection in a box and fill it with the gel. the gel is easy to remove by pulling

Mate use 3m amalgamation tape 👍🇦🇺 then black nitto insulation electrical tape over the top will last for life 👍🇦🇺

Electrical tape backwards (so it comes off easy) then butyl then electrical tape again. Creates a great wrath proofing for cell towers!

You did not use the required torque driver to connect them, clearly visible by the gap petheen the moving parts, just tightened by hand, right? Get the tool and fixx all connections 🌷
