my son was a goalie,a dad behind us said something aweful(9 years old)my mother in law stoo d up and said I've been cheering for every kid on both teams that goalie is my grandson.shame on you

I think it depends. I criticize other kids, but not yelling it out. like I will tell a goalies parents what the kid is doing wrong, and how to correct it, generally offer a free session

Its causes problems between teammates especially if kids overhear their parents then repeat what their parents said and bring it into the locker room.

I only criticized my own kid..he's a goalie. and after the game in public I praise him. in the car or afew days later we talk about the Game.

We had a parent that did this last year. She only ever cheered for her kid, we would all be cheering for the whole team and she would only cheer for her son and criticize everyone else.

same goes for refs unless safety is compromised ...but refs don't enforce safety ( coaches do) refs penalize not enforce
