@askvinh: Yes AND is a powerful communication tool to shift any topic towards a positive direction. How often do you fall into the trap of saying "yeaahh butttt" when you don't necessarily agree with someone? This often leads toward potentially a conflict. Yes if it's something you really believe in and then it is sometimes important to take a stand. But in most cases it's not worth it! People are often just looking for validation on their opinion, and you can give it to them with a YES AND, where you're building on top of their opinion with yours rather than negating their opinion with yours.
