Thank you for sharing. All of your emotions are so valid, and I truly don't think people understand how dangerous these anti-choice policies are. Abortion is sometimes a medical necessity.

I think it takes a very strong and compassionate person to do abortions further in a pregnancy. Meeting grieving and maybe dying/hurt parents over and over? They deserve thanks 😭

Spread the word that there are abortion doulas who will help you through the entire process. Most do this work for free.

It’s so horrifying. What’s worse is when republicans rant about “post birth abortions” what they mean is palliative care for newborns. Which just horrifies me, especially as a tay sachs carrier.

I also had to force information out of my MFM when I needed to TFMR. They tried to scare me away from the option! The people at the clinic were so empathetic and compassionate.
