I agree on the headstone part. They could have just used his name. I really enjoyed the stop motion clip but maybe they could have made his face hidden/different.

I feel that it's Tim Burton / WB's own the character, they can use the character without the actor. I appreciate what they did. They didn't censor Beetlejuice or the art.

when I learned Tim Burton didn't rewatch the first Beetlejuice before getting into making the 2nd one and went in with a poor memory, that explained to me why the sequel was the way it was

The stop motion scene seemed more like an “FU” to the guy like he went thru all that and then suffers a gruesome death - but having a visual would explain better why his whole torso is gone

His photo on the grave could have been taken out, yeah. Although, I did find that stop motion flashback funny. It was like Burton's way of saying "FU Jones, you're dead to us."

him being eaten by the shark is Tim Burton’s greatest fear so that’s “why” that sequence happened. But imo Delia would’ve been ELATED that he passed and it could’ve cause great conflict with Lydia.

they used his likeness. the credits do not credit the actor at all except for likeness. yeah I agree with you on too much of him even though it wasn't him. It was a mix for me at one hand

100% agree. I thought the actor had died and they were paying homage to him. finding out he's not dead and actually a pedo was a shock. and yet Geena Davis didn't even get a call about the movie smh

i think it was really distasteful. especially with them not including anything about otto who’s actor died in real life, and geena davis& alec baldwin got 2 mentions. they deserved a stop motion scene
