The original device came with only 64GB of storage and a battery capacity of 78%, leaving the owner frustrated with limited space and short battery life. To solve these issues, we upgraded the phone's storage to 256GB and installed dual batteries, boosting the phone's capacity to 5,094mAh and extending battery life by 2.4 times. We started by carefully disassembling the phone, removing the battery and screen cables, and then taking out the motherboard. After peeling off the protective sticker from the hard drive, we proceeded with the memory upgrade. By removing the 64GB hard drive, cleaning the solder points, and placing a brand-new 256GB hard drive, we ensured the phone had plenty of storage for the owner's needs. The process required precision soldering, with the outcome depending largely on the technician's skill. Next, we moved on to the battery upgrade. The original battery had already been through over 1,000 charge cycles, so it was time for a replacement. We installed a dual battery setup, giving the phone a massive 5,094mAh capacity, far beyond the standard battery. With this modification, the iPhone 12 Mini can now last up to two days on a single charge. After completing the internal modifications, we applied heat dissipation stickers to help with cooling and reinstalled the motherboard. Using a custom aluminum alloy middle frame and structural adhesive, we ensured the phone had everyday waterproof and dustproof protection. The final step was connecting the phone to a computer for a system restore, as the memory upgrade required reinstallation of the system. Once the restore was complete, the phone now displayed 256GB of storage, and the extended battery life was ready to go.
