@fablefulart: I start researching everything i can, applying to jobs i (disable wise) can NOT do, and have literally set myself up to move out of the country with no money and thinking i can “do it anyways”. When that borderline personality euphoria goes down, i suddenly feel miserable, exhausted, and worthless. Having my partner to catch me warly in my euphoric episodes help me to try and look at things more realistically. Bpd is a lot of feeling extremely about things, especially when triggered. So being forced to just sorta process it with a somewhat stable head, helps to try and normalize to my brain, “Hey. We don’t always need to shoot off at everyting.” “Positive events or relationships may trigger euphoria but can also arise seemingly without cause. These individuals often experience emotions more intensely and for longer durations than others, including positive emotions like happiness. In BPD, periods of euphoria can be seen as part of the emotional instability that is a hallmark of the disorder. While periods of euphoria may initially seem positive, they can lead to issues if they become extreme or persistent. The individual might make impulsive decisions under the influence of intense positive emotions. Additionally, the contrast between euphoria and emotional distress periods can be jarring and disruptive to an individual's life.” — Source: grouporttherapy.com, “Riding the Wave” . . . #fyp #art #digitalart #disabled #bpd #cptsd #borderline #tismtok #autism

My fiances helped me get to that center point so I don't crash so hard anymore. He also tries to level me out so I don't overdo it.

BPD crashes genuinely are so terrifying. Especially the anger ones because it happens so suddenly and intensely that it feels like you’re getting an emotional whiplash. I had a REALLY bad one for euphoria and I was laughing for a full hour. I couldn’t stop and then when I did, I got so anxious I screamed over every noise and cried nonstop for hours. BPD is so terrible.

I don’t think I have bipolar disorder, but I do experience manic episodes. It gets to the point it HURTS. I’m just smiling and moving around in my bed because it physically hurts. Once it’s over it

I used to have this feeling that I could do anything, especially in school when I was like that I was able to do stuff like present without being nervous and these would last for hours or days

this makes me feel related to but, I'm not diagnosed for it so I wonder if it's just my brain playing a trick on me.

Just a general question, when you're feeling better mentally do you show how much you love your partner and show how much you appreciate them? if you're comfortable could you share how of you do?
