If you have chickens, guineas, give the shells back to them. It helps their calcium and helps them lay hard eggs. If the shell is soft, it means they need more calcium.

You can also use a clean milk jug; filled mostly with water. Add egg shells, let sit in cool dry place with lid loosely on. Best for watering your plants! You just keep adding water and shells

Or you can throw the shells around your plants after washing them to lacerate the slugs and just put a calcium tablet in the soil less labor-intensive

It is a waste of time and resources to boil the eggshell! Do not do this! Save eggshells in a box and bring in blender. The sprinkle over garden. I do this and my plants 🌱 are THRIVING!!!
