wouldn't it be safer to land with no wheels at that point? Like I'd imagine this would create drag on one side risking a more violent landing?

pretty sure this is the girl who was having one of if not her first solo flight. her isntructor got on the radio and was talking her through it. could be wrong but very cool story

The last time I tried to fly Cape Air, the plane that I was waiting for popped a tire upon landing, they canceled my flight and I had to rent a car to get to my destination.
