This is a tough surgery… some do so much better than others.. women don’t do as well. I think it’s due to the size of the implant. ( RN here)

Had my tkr 16 months ago. It was really hard for 3-4 months. Still stiff, but doesn’t really hurt

I had a hip replacement last December, a knee replacement in March, I had no pain with either, no pain meds either. I did 7 weeks PT with each. Best thing I ever have done! Absolutely no pain at all.

Sounds like my husband. FKR, maniplulation and then a redo replacement. Did all the PT and its still stiff and painful

My aunt had a FKR and 6 months later was still in pain. She had a terrible infection inside the knee and had to go through the surgery again.

I'm 8 weeks out and the tightness and pain is awful I had to start using my cane again I'm was bending at 105 it's back to 100

Got FKR in June 2023, MUA 8 weeks later and still have stiffness and feeling of it’s not right. But my surgeon says it all looks fine 😭😭

Left knee, 10 years ago. Right knee, 8 months ago. Best decision I ever made. 6-8 weeks of therapy is a must.

I have yet to regain full range of motion and have more pain than I did before the surgery, 5 months out. The doctor said we may have to do another surgery but he wants to wait until it's been a year

I need a TKR and I’m scared to death after hearing all the horror stories. I do not have pain, just limited mobility so I think I’ll just live with it!
