@bendessen: SNAKE COMBAT! Take a look at these two highly venomous red-bellied black snakes battling it out over a lady. During the breeding season, males will often engage in combat. The aim of the combat is to pin the opponent down and can last anywhere from a few minutes, up to half an hour. Eventually a winner is determined with the prize being new territory and the privilege to mate with any female snakes that may enter it. During combat, the males are so fixated on each other that they become oblivious to their surrounds.
