Nah this is what addiction does—it destroys trust. She doesn’t have to pay off his debt or trust him until she is ready.

Why wasn’t the answer just No? Why should she pay his debt’s accumulated after separating when he didn’t handle his life, he replaced one addiction with another. My advice would be : girl, run!

Eh I feel like he wants to so she can help clean up his mess. Why not do this on his own to help prove he had changed for the better? I’m sure that’s more reassuring to his wife.

He racked up $50k while they were separated and getting clean. Hes going to have to pay that first I think. Thats not her responsibility.

Addiction is a different animal and it makes people under it's hold untrustworthy and it destroys the people that have to deal with the one in Addiction.
