Can I just say that I changed it in spirit and tell everyone that’s my new last name but not legally change it? Like he and I both know that’s my new last name, but I’m not doing all this?? 😭😭

Before you do your Social Security card, you HAVE to let your mail carrier know to leave mail for your new last name, or sometimes they will not deliver your social security card.

Changing my name on drivers license and with social security was so easy. I did it in one day. Within 30 minutes, the name I’d had since I was eight years old was legally changed 😩
