the dentists in my place do the notes as the patient is there. templates are used. referrals are done by nurses and finalised by dentists. dentist leaves way before nurses.

My nurse is fantastic,is more like my personal assistant. She finishes my sentences when speaking or writing . SHE IS IN MY MIND. Thanks to her I don't stay longer after work. Thank you Matilda XXXX

I type up everything the patient says that's dentally related while they're in the chair, the dentist goes through them after, adds and checks, teamwork! I've never done a referral letter though!

100% can relate, most weeks I wait up to 2 hrs for my other half to come home from work, some nights even end up taking dinner to him/ pop in to make coffee just to help him get through the admin

Nurses can easily type notes while the patient chats and you just edit. I’ve never stayed back past 5 🤣🤣🤣 maybe 4 mins. Lol. Only real imp notes are miscell and POIG/warnings/consent 😂
