And please, please, please ALWAYS lock your doors WHEN YOU ARE HOME! That’s so much more important than locking it when you’re gone. Take it from a girl who thought the door would be ok unlocked for a mere 2 1/2 hours while I slept & a man came into my home.

I put signs for a diff alarm company than I actually have in my yard. I have a panic button next to my bed. Have double sided cylinder locks on all my doors that I keep locked from the inside.

my ex didn't take me seriously on preparing for bad things. (Shocker: He was abusive) My current S/O comes from a similar upbringing and is extremely prepared and answers emergency calls/texts.

lock boxes! a guy broke mine open with his bare hands, unlocked the door and walked in. 😱😭 it was an electrician who was supposed to do work at the neighbors house. trashed the 🔐, got a camera

I reported my new construction home being in the wrong spot on maps almost 9 months ago and they didn’t fix it so I wouldn’t hold my breath with them “fixing” much. I tried more than once.
