I’ve been back for 2 weeks now and just trying to see what the next steps are as this journey continues to unfold. And there’s this part in the Bible, where this guy Paul (who used to kill Christians and ended up writing most of the New Testament, so that in itself should tell you you’re never to far gone and everything you’ve done in your life can be forgiven and redeemed and that people can truly change). But he has this part where he is talking about travel plans and maybe he will go to these different places but perhaps he won’t. And what this scripture tells us is that Paul has no clue what he was doing or where his life was taking him. And honestly it’s the best place to be in, yes planning is wise and we need a basic structure to our life, but a life lived with Jesus truly means you think you’re going one way and it gets totally turned upside down, and it’s seriously so much fun. And it’s such a great reminder of when you live a life for Christ you have no idea what the next day will hold, where in the world you’ll end up, or what adventures await you with in the next week. I didn’t even ask to go to the US or plan on it, this was a path and opportunity which was opened up for me, America has never been on my radar nor would I have ever chosen to travel there, yet look at where I ended up! I was provided for in every single way, financial miracles, opportunities which just blew my mind and got to experience how real and powerful God truly is. But even now, every single day I’m seeing miracles, having adventures, God encounters with people and being home is just as much of a wild ride as it was being away. A life with Jesus is not what people think it is, it’s so much pure fun, joy and peace in a way nothing in this world can ever offer you. Take your wildest dreams and biggest hopes , 10 X it and it doesn’t even scratch the surface of what God can and will do for you and the purpose and fulfilment He gives. #testimony #america #activism #faith #transformation #education #change
