Ten years later, Remi never stops flirting and having eyes for McKenna, despite the complications in their lives now, like forcing McKenna to come home. Meanwhile, Bastien is now engaged to reformed high school mean girl -- and that's fine! Definitely totally fine. McKenna's sexuality, while not a focal point of the book, is an important part of who she is, as is Remi's pansexuality and that she's genderqueer.
