Never thought I would be a “content creator” but after posting this video it got me really excited about the idea of creating videos, specifically short vertical videos. I started off casually posting videos of me and my friends fishing that would barely get any views, there were no plans for these videos and all the editing was done on the app (before they were any good). Most of them were really short and I usually tried to use different “trends” But once I changed styles, my views and following started to increase. I really went outside of my comfort zone for this one by doing voiceovers telling the viewer the story of each trip to the lake. Although at this time I first learned about creating content and about how algorithms worked. I edited everything on my iPhone 13 Pro, I would upload all my GoPro footage to the phone but this process would take FOREVER… It wasn’t until April this year where I finally bought a proper laptop to edit on. Once I started really planning my videos to engage and keep the audience’s attention is when things started to really happen. I never thought I’d be able to really make that much money with a relatively small following but there’s lots of brands willing to pay to showcase their products. That plus revenue earned from YouTube Adsense and a few other content creator side hustles I have an opportunity to really give it a go. I have big plans for the next 12 months and can’t wait to spend more time on the lake. It wouldn’t have been possible without you all, so thank you for all the support on this journey so far, lots more to come. #fishing #fish #Outdoors #hotdog #fishingtiktok #fishingvideo
