My sister was a server when we sit down she will say “listen, put the phones down look at and the menu and decide on drinks, so when the server comes over we are ready.” 😂

I once asked a guest to put her phone down and she demanded an apology. When I acknowledged "I shouldn't have done that" instead of saying "I'm sorry", she demanded to be served by someone else.

I get ignored all the time in the drive thru. there's mobile orders that get out of order if u just pass my window without confirming. also people will slightly stick their hand out their window to give me their card while scrolling on their phone. I cannot reach that.. I had to be like "hello?" to a customer for the first time last night cause of how long it took them to notice
