@rising_with_mustangs: Replying to @Erin|SAHM|Farmlife My first reply video! So bare with me- here is the solution I came up with for that mess. He sees a farrier regularly and if km holding him on lead hes fine. During our solo hopf handling though he has started this spinning behavior. For everyone else- If you saw my last video, you saw a training session that was just not working out. That happens! We have to take a step back in those moments and figure out whats going wrong, why, and how can we help them understand. Once i realized his movement during hoof handling was becoming a repeated issue, I realzied teaching him a station behavior (like ground tying or stay) and that helped give him clarity on what he needed to be doing. This js our first time learning a station and he did fabulous. #positivereinforcment #clickertraining #wildhorses #horsesoftiktok
