Does anyone know if I could shred cheese, put it in a mason jar, vacuum seal it and put it in the fridge? Will it last way longer than a couple of weeks?

I did not see a difference when sealing the marshmallows. Did I see it when the seal was realesed? Sure, a little but not sold.
