Take SO much ibuprofen before. The pain can be intense, I had a crazy experience this week and blacked out after my IUD was put in. Eat so much before and ask for ANY type of drug they can give.

girl don’t get it!! i had the worst cramps on my period and it hurts so bad, it says no horomomes but my mental health wasn’t good on it. i also got horrible cramps off my period. -10/10

My IUD is the Best thing I’ve ever gotten!’ The first time I got it I had cramps after but it’s nothing you’ve never experienced before if you’ve had cramps before!

Do agree with others though.. use condoms ALWAYS! It’s not just to avoid getting preggo, it’s to protect you from STI’s but also negative effects UTI’s would have

Depo is one of the worst forms of birth control. Can cause irregular periods, and infertility as well. It’s pushed out to lower income communities for this reason 🥲

i’ve heard the copper iud’s are less risk, however it’s more bleeding and cramping. i wish we (as women) had an option that is as “amazing” as what these birth control companies try to sell to us.
