Nah I am fairly sure that glue/overlapping ring joint failed. I don’t think that it fell vertically. I think that was an initial thought, with how it was situated on the floor of the ocean.

said they dropped weights, in the past weights had issues detaching which is alarming. that being said, it could have been going up and still imploded due to pressure.

At that depth, I doubt that the people hitting the front would have had much of a difference. The force of the pressure from the water would have been pushing too hard against the hull.

well it's not surprising that it broke due to the pressure the CEO kept the sub outside in the heat rain snow causing the exterior more susceptible to breaking cause of the pressure he even fired a
