so true and it was the best of times. You knew all your neighbor's played outside all day and came home when the street light came on. On Sundays nights we watched Disney and Lawrence Welk.

Driving with us 3 in the back of the 66 Impala, Mom Dad in front smoking Camels (windows cracked, maybe) no AC. oh, plus we were all fighting and yelling as we headed to Sears. I miss it!❤️

So true!! Got up in the morning then out the door all day with friends. Came home whenever. Be back for supper and ate at the kitchen table. Then told to be back certain time or before dark.

So true.. Walked home from elementary school.. Drank water from the hose.. Ate homemade meals.. Skating.. Cycling no helmuts.. Motor movies with a dozen people in car and the best music during that time.. Great memories 😊❤️
