Orange Chicken Recipe: Ingredients: For the sauce: Two oranges (extract the juice and use the zest) 3 tbsp Soy sauce 1 tsp Sesame oil 1/2 tsp Red peppee flakes (optional) 1/2 cup of Sugar 1/4 cup Rice vinegar 1/2 tsp ground Ginger or 1 tsp grated ginger 2 tbsp of water and 1 tbsp of corn starch for the “slurry” you’ll add to the sauce when it starts to boil. ✨Instructions✨ 1. Mix all ingredients for the sauce except the cornstarch in a jug or bowl. 2. Mix the cornstarch with a little water and set aside. Add the sauce ingredients to a skillet and simmer. Add the cornstarch and cook further until thickened. 3. Cover the chicken in corn starch 4. Mix the chopped chicken pieces in egg, toss to coat. 5. Next dredge the chicken in panko or flour. 6. Set oven at 425 and bake the chicken for 10 minutes, then flip them around and cook for an additional 5 minutes until crispy and golden. 7. Toss in the warmed orange sauce and serve.
