Is this laminate or vinyl. If the floor is old pine wood floor do you need a vapor barrier and it’s a second floor.

I'm guessing the product you use doesn't have padding attached? otherwise a vapor barrier doesn't need to be used as the padding allows the product and concrete to breathe for moisture reasons
