This is what reinvestment into the Black community looks like, direct, thoughtful, and led by those who know it best. But on the flipside, some media outlets chose instead to focus on a fight that occurred during DJ AG’s live, framing the day as “unsafe” and “dangerous,” overshadowing the community care at the heart of the event.
