Turn photos into drawings: filter: grayscale(1) contrast(1.6), then mix-blend-mode: multiply over an off-white #F4F2ED background. The white of the image disappears and it reads as ink on paper 2. Blueprint grid: repeating-linear-gradient in both directions, 1px lines at rgba(0,0,0,.06), 40px apart, on a fixed background layer 3. Corner crosshairs: a small + drawn with two 1px pseudo elements, absolutely placed at each corner of the frame. This one detail sells the whole thing 4. Hairlines only: 1px borders, never rounded, and ONE accent color used at 5% of the page 5.
