there's also place you can bring them too like hospitals or police station that have boxes. but DO NOT flush no one wants your meds in their water

When I was working for hospice they would have us put any left over medication in cat litter. That was over 10 years ago. So I’m not sure if that has changed or not!

when I worked at a gas station, the health dept required us to dump them in a bucket of water to dissolve the pills and then pour down drain.

The ER where I live, and Safeway pharmacy both have a bin where you can take your meds to dispose of them.

In New Zealand we give it back to the pharmacy all meds are like this even if they are over the counter coz it can get in the hand of people on the streets
