I would never have expected our guests to tip at either of my daughters' weddings; we banned tip jars. I did, however, tip our bartenders generously before the event and even more generously after.

We had an automatic gratuity on our bar tab for our wedding. I don’t think a tip jar should be out in those scenarios.

our bar sign was a photo of our dog saying “drinks are on Buddy but leave your bartender a treat!” 🐶🦴 as a couple that met working in the service industry, we had to set the tone!
