look in to mythbuntu and nextpvr. nextpvr will work with almost all tv turner cards ... like you wintv card. though the best version is the version 4 for windows

I use to set these up for customers. That is not the original psu. That is a cheap one from Futureshop. It was kind of the store brand. We would use them on warranty work.

I had this. I replaced windows with Linux Mint and it worked well for awhile. I'm sure it came with an IR blaster and remote?

I had a Dell similar to that with the TV card, XP media center edition and a DVD drive. Worked great hooked up to old fashioned cable TV. Even came with a remote and sensor that plugged into USB.

I had that pc but in grey. When I got it, it came with windows xp. I used the included media software to record my favorite shows and essentially made it into a rudimentary NAS.

There is a version of Windows XP that was for media computers like this. I believe it had the TV software integrated. I had a Dell laptop with it.
