Also at Christmas time many nursing homes have giving trees with requests last year I picked one with a guy who just wanted a throw blanket and a bottle of Irish spring body-wash 😭

As a nurse I can confirm this. The little kids make the elderly so happy. Even if they have dementia a child can put a smile on their faces.

Last year took the Grandkids there. I think the residents we’re more excited then the kids. Each floor was decorated and they were sitting in the halls handing candy out.

i was a nurses aid/P.S.W and worked privately in a nursing home i always broight my son! the residents LOVED it!! he would sing for them, tell them stories 😂🥰 and we would dress up for Christmas and Halloween
