here we get actually very fww american tourists but its actually a little jarring to hear them speak. their r's are so aggressive and u notice it esp in an aussie crowd

tbh american accent is basically just like a "lazy" accent for me like it was so much easier to learn english using american accent (my first language is czech)

I'm an aussie and I think the same. I think its because we hear the American accent on the TV all the time yet irish, English and Scottish accents are so sexy. I think accents turn an ugly person to instant hot. 😂

my fifth language is english and I learned it through the british youtubers and 1D so I had a british accend but now my accent is just gone and I feel like I have more of an amerixa accent it’s so sad

i studied this at uni. we all tend to adopt the accent of the people with which we spend the most time. it's natural and a consequence of the need to be understood.
