@claremck123: #stitch with @just charming sorry but asking a person what they spend their childs disability benefits on, bit cheeky love, DLA IS AWARDED TO CHILDREN WHO NEED IT, children who need it dont always get it and their patents have to fight for it, parents are fighting for support, our children absolutely need the support, having a dig at families who use the sunflower lanyard claiming it comes with a £1000 is dam right disgusting, be grateful you have no idea

My girls got severe adhd & autism and struggles daily, she’s in a “mainstream” school BUT they are INCREDIBLE!! I’d rather my girl be okay than any amount of money! Yes it helps. It replaces things…

Sure there was something in the press about most SEN parents, mainly mums, have to cut down their hours or give up work completely to look after their kid. If you don’t understand consider yourself

People who don't have special needs children will NEVER understand how hard it is 😭 I would be anything to be back at work but life just isn't that simple x

Yes! People who have never had to claim it have no idea how hard it is to get. They seem to think you just fill out a form and it’s awarded. You literally need all types of proof… medical, education

special supportive shoes speech therapy, physio therapy, additional tuition and resources to support my daughter’s learning and poor memory. She needs more support and warm water swimming pool to benefit from swimming. Otherwise her muscles seize up and she can be in pain for days . Constant calpol and ibuprofen, magnesium

People should be educating themselves on sen children. Specially if they want to know why they claim disability. Little bit of education and understanding go a long way ❤️

Because us parents are fortunate enough to be able to get a full time job like you due to hospital appointments etc. and having no sleep due to their child's needs. And that's just a small bit of life
